Apple has kicked off its new Back to School promo in Malaysia, which offers students and educators an Apple Gift Card worth up to RM600 on top of the educational discounts.
Eligible customers who purchase a qualifying Mac or iPad can use the gift card for their next purchase. This means students can use the gift card to buy accessories such as AirPods, Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard, AppleCare+ or apps and services.
The promotion is available through Apple’s Education Store online and at Apple Store The Exchange TRX.
Free Apple Store Gift Card up to RM600 when you buy eligible iPad or MacBook
The amount of Apple Store Gift Card value varies depending on the product as listed below:
- MacBook Pro – RM600
- MacBook Air – RM400
- iPad Pro – RM400
- iPad Air – RM400
These gift cards are offered on top of Apple’s current educational pricing which offers lower prices for eligible students, educators and educational staff.

Apple Watch now gets Education pricing
Besides the gift card promotion, Apple has expanded its Education Store lineup by including Apple Watch under education pricing for the first time.
The Apple Watch SE is offered from RM959 (Normally from RM1,049) and the Series 11 is offered from RM1,619 (Normally from RM1,799). Meanwhile, the Apple Watch Ultra is offered from RM3,329 (Normally from RM3,699).
In case you missed it, the Apple Creator Studio subscription bundle is also available with student pricing at RM9.90/month (Normal price: RM29.90 per month) for eligible students and educators. It bundles Apple’s creative and productivity apps including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro and Pixelmator Pro in a single subscription.
Meanwhile, Apple is offering 3 months of iCloud+ 50GB at no extra cost for eligible users until the end of August. The promotion is available to new iCloud+ subscribers, existing users on the free 5GB tier and returning customers. The iCloud+ offer is available for redemption at Apple Retail stores.
