Zeekr X 2026 officially in Malaysia: Priced from RM159k, offers more features and performance

Almost 2 years after it was launched in Malaysia, the Zeekr X has received a refresher for 2026. While its exterior design looked generally the same, the fully electric compact SUV now comes with additional features and has more firepower than the original 2024 version.

2026 Zeekr X Malaysia pricing, financing programme

Similar to the 2024 version, the Zeekr X 2026 is available in two variants:

  • 2026 Zeekr X Premium RWD: RM158,800
  • 2026 Zeekr X Flagship AWD: RM175,800

The pricing mentioned above is the net selling price. Once you consider related fees such as registration, road tax, ownership claim, EV number plate, inspection, and handling, the on-the-road (OTR) price for the 2026 Zeekr X is RM159,995 for Premium RWD and RM177,465 for Flagship AWD – not inclusive of insurance.

Zeekr Malaysia has collaborated with Maybank and Public Bank to offer a special financing programme for the 2026 Zeekr X. Under the programme, which offers hire purchase interest rates from as low as 1.18%, customers can choose to pay the full down payment amount via credit card through an interest-free instalment plan with a duration of up to 48 months.

For customers who don’t require this financing option, they will be provided with a complimentary 22kW AC wallbox charger and a 3-pin portable EV charger instead.

2026 Zeekr X Malaysia colourways, warranty

Both Premium and Flagship variants of the 2026 Zeekr X can be obtained in Crystal White and Grid Grey. Zeekr has also reserved the Porcelin Pink option for the Premium RWD variant, while if you choose the Flagship AWD, you can also get your unit in Onyx Black.

There is also another exclusive colourway called Matte Khaki Green for the Flagship AWD variant, but you have to pay an additional RM3,000 to get your hands on it. Inside the car, the Premium RWD features Black & White interior while the Flagship AWD offers a Black & Red interior.

Customers will also receive 1 year of complimentary connected service with a monthly data quota of 6GB. The 2026 Zeekr X comes standard with a 5-year / 150,000km vehicle warranty, alongside an 8-year / 160,000km warranty for its high-voltage battery and components.

2026 Zeekr X Malaysia: What’s new?

Here’s the list of main changes that the 2026 version of Zeekr X has for Malaysia on both Premium RWD and Flagship AWD variants:

  • Automatic front doors
  • Redesigned centre console
  • Built-in 5.7L fridge with adjustable temperature from -6°C to 50°C
  • Touch bar controls on the steering wheel
  • Interactive B-pillar screen
  • Larger 404L boot space

Another key attraction of the 2026 Zeekr X is performance improvements.

The new touch bar controls on the steering wheel.

The Premium RWD now has a 250kW (335hp) rear motor with 373Nm of torque – a noticeable increase from 2024’s version, which has a 200kW (268hp) motor with 343Nm of torque. The extra firepower helped the 2026 version of Zeekr X Premium RWD shave off its 0-100km/h timing from 5.6 seconds to 5.3 seconds.

The 250kW rear motor has also been fitted into the 2026 Zeekr X Flagship AWD, although Zeekr has retained the 115kW (154hp) front motor, which also produces 200Nm of torque. Nevertheless, the 2026 Zeekr X Flagship AWD can still accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds quicker than its 2024 predecessor.

The new built-in heater/cooler, which is integrated into the equally new centre console.

Even though the 2026 Zeekr X is still being powered by a 66kWh NMC battery pack together with a DC charging speed of 150kW, its AC charging capability has been improved. The 2026 version of the Premium RWD variant now supports 11kW charging instead of 7kW, while the Flagship AWD now has a 22kW AC charging module as opposed to 11kW.

Other notable changes for the 2026 Zeekr X include a heads-up display and larger 19-inch wheels with a new design for the Premium RWD variant. The Flagship AWD has also been equipped with new 20-inch black forged wheels and a massage feature for the front seats.
