Gentari continues to deploy more EV chargers on Penang Island and the latest location is at Batu Ferringi.

They have just turned on its 180kW DC Charger at Petronas Batu Ferringhi which is just opposite Shangri-La Golden Sands.

As part of its opening promo, Gentari is offering 15% off for a limited time.

For this location, Gentari has deployed a 180kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles. Like most Gentari DC chargers, it is priced at RM1.60 per kWh. You can save more if you have an active Gentari Go subscription.

Take note that idle fees of RM0.40 per minute applies if you do not move your vehicle 15 minutes after charging is completed.

This charger can be activated via Gentari Go, ChargEV and JomCharge.

From 11th June to 24th June 2026, Gentari is offering 15% discount for this EV charging location. Just apply the promo code GO15FERRINGHI on the Gentari Go app when activating the charger.

As usual, do remove your vehicle once charging is completed. If you’re not charging, you’re hogging.
