Infinix has launched its latest gaming smartphone in Malaysia, the Infinix GT 50 Pro. Replacing the GT 30 Pro (yes, Infinix skipped 40) from last year, the GT 50 Pro sports a newer chipset, a larger battery, and is also the industry’s first to support wireless bypass charging.
But if you purchase the device by 10 May 2026, you will enjoy a RM200 first-week sale rebate.
On top of that, the promo also comes with complimentary gifts worth RM129, including a GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0, Magcase, and a powerbank.
Let’s start with colour options. The Infinix GT 50 Pro is available in Black Abyss, Silver Glacier, and Red Blaze. Specs-wise, the gaming smartphone sports a 6.78″ 144Hz AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2644×1208 pixels.
Powering the GT 50 Pro is MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. To ensure the device runs cool even during extended gaming sessions, Infinix has equipped it with a 7,700mm² vapour chamber, a 25,000mm² graphite sheet, as well as a liquid cooling system, which is partially visible under the back cover.
In terms of imaging, you get a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle shooter. For selfies, there is a 13MP f/2.2 front camera.
In terms of battery, there’s a 6,500mAh cell that supports 45W charging via USB-C or 30W wireless charging. The GT 50 Pro is also capable of 10W reverse wired and 5W reverse wireless charging.
That’s not all, bypass charging is also thrown in, and the Infinix GT 50 Pro is the industry’s first to introduce wireless bypass charging.
Out of the box, the device will run on Infinix’s XOS 16 skin, built on top of Android 16. Infinix promises to provide the GT 50 Pro with up to three years of major OS upgrades and five years of security patch updates. And for connectivity, you get WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, as well as NFC.
