Vivo has updated its V-series smartphone lineup with the launch of the Vivo V70 here in Malaysia. Featuring a fresh new design, the V70’s specs remain mostly unchanged from its predecessor, the V60.

Vivo V70 Malaysia: Pricing and promo

The Vivo V70 is offered with three configurations in Malaysia:

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage – RM1,999
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage – RM2,199
  • 12GB RAM +512GB storage – RM2,599

As for colour options, the Vivo V70 is available in Alpine Gray, Authentic Black, and Golden Hour, which is inspired by sunsets in Malaysia.

Vivo is throwing in some pre-order goodies, including the Vivo Buds as well as a limited edition Au999 gold wafer. You can also redeem a 1-year Vivo Care extended warranty and a 180-day Vivo Care screen protection warranty via the Vivo Store app.

You can purchase the Vivo V70 on Vivo Malaysia’s official website or through its official e-commerce stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

Vivo V70 Malaysia: Specs and features

In terms of specs, the Vivo V70 features a 6.59″ 120Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2750×1260 pixels and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. This makes the V70 slightly more compact than the V60, which had a 6.77″ screen but with more resolution for a crispier viewing experience. For durability, the Vivo V70 is rated at IP69 and IP69 for dust and water resistance.

The rest of the V70’s specs are mostly identical to its predecessor. This includes the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a Zeiss-co-developed tri-camera setup at the back that consists of:

  • 50MP main camera with OIS
  • 50MP 3x optical zoom telephoto camera
  • 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera

As for selfies, you get a 50MP front camera. Powering the Vivo V70 is a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery that charges at 90W.

The V70 runs on Vivo’s OriginOS 6, built atop Android 16. Vivo promises to support the smartphone with up to four generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security patch upgrades.
