Want to convert almost any TV with an HDMI port into a Google TV? Xiaomi Malaysia has just released its second generation Xiaomi TV Stick 4K and it retains the same price as the first gen model released in 2022.
Besides having a sleeker stick design, the new TV Stick 4K offers better performance with a newer chip and GPU, as well as improved connectivity with WiFi 6 support.
Unlike the TV Box, the stick offers better portability which is great for travelling. All you’ll need is a TV or display with a spare HDMI port, a WiFi connection and a USB power source.

The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K Second Gen is officially priced at RM219 and it is now available in Malaysia.

Xiaomi TV Stick 4K second gen runs on Google TV and it pushes an output resolution of 4K with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
Under the hood, it gets a newer 6nm chip with a 2.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A55 CPU and an ARM G310 V2 GPU. Similar as before, it comes with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of non-expandable storage.
According to Xiaomi, it offers 80% better CPU performance and 150% better GPU performance compared to its first generation stick.
Out of the box, the stick is preloaded with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube. You can also install more apps and streaming platforms from the Apps tab.
In terms of wireless connectivity, it supports dual-band WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and you can also stream content directly from your personal device via Google Cast. Also included is a Bluetooth remote with dedicated buttons to Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube.
