Gentari continues its EV Charger deployment in Penang in partnership with MBPP. The latest location is at Padang Polo (or Polo Ground) in Georgetown, which is near the Penang Governor’s Residence.

Similar to other Gentari x MBPP locations, they have deployed DC chargers with a total four bays.

Gentari has installed two street-level 50kW DC Chargers with two CCS2 nozzles each. They are located along Jalan Sepoy Lines, and it is near to the public toilets.

Like most Gentari locations, these DC chargers costs RM1.60 per kWh. If you have the Gentari Go Power Pass membership, it will cost you RM0.80 per kWh with the 50% discount perk.

If you find any vehicles blocking or misusing the EV charging bays, you can call Aduan MBPP hotline at 04-2637000 or send a WhatsApp message to 016-200 4082.
