2025 BYD Seal launching in Malaysia this Friday, 22 August

BYD Cars Malaysia has confirmed that the updated 2025 BYD Seal will be launched this Friday, 22 August.

The new 2025 BYD Seal comes with a slightly larger frunk (53L, up from 50L), redesigned alloys, a powered roof sunshade, and upgraded DiSus-C adaptive dampers.

2025 BYD Seal Variants

In Singapore, the updated Seal is offered in three variants:

  • Dynamic (RWD): 134hp, 310Nm, 61.44kWh battery, 460km WLTP range
  • Premium (RWD): 309hp, 360Nm, 82.56kWh battery, 570km WLTP range
  • Performance (AWD): 523hp, 670Nm combined, 82.56kWh battery, 520km WLTP range

Charging tops out at 7kW AC/100kW DC for the Dynamic, and 7kW AC/150kW DC for the Premium and Performance. A 30–80% recharge can take as little as 32 minutes.

Safety kit includes nine airbags, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors front and rear, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert with braking, and a head-up display.

Local and final specifications for the 2025 BYD Seal will be announced at launch.
