Customers in Malaysia can now purchase the Leapmotor C10 for RM125,000, which is significantly lower than its standard selling price of RM159,000. Launched in Malaysia last October, the electric SUV was released into our market with a promotional price of RM149,000.

The RM30,000 price cut has essentially positioned the C10 closer to mainstream models such as Proton e.MAS 7 Premium, BYD Atto 3 Ultra, and Chery Omoda E5. It might be something that the electric SUV needed, as there are currently only 95 units of C10 on our roads as of May 2025, according to JPJ’s registration data.

Note: Images in this article feature the 2024 version of the C10, not the 2025 unit.

Interestingly enough, the new price tag is not the only major change that happened to the 2025 Leapmotor C10 for our market. The C10 now supports AC charging speed of 11kW which Leapmotor Malaysia said helps reduce the EV’s 30% – 80% AC charging time from 6 hours to 4 hours.

The 2025 C10 also features a 32L frunk alongside a tonneau cover for its boot, which helps shield the cargo from prying eyes. Leapmotor has also equipped the electric SUV with a Direct Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a motorised tyre inflator pump kit.

Not to forget, the 2025 C10 also features new colourways for its interior. For units with Pearly White, Canopy Grey, and Tundra Grey exterior colours, they would have a Black upholstery, while Glazed Green units come with Camel Brown interior.

Other major aspects of the 2025 C10 remained the same. The Maserati-tuned electric SUV still features a 160kW (215hp) electric motor with 320Nm of torque. This allows the C10 to go from 0 to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds, and it also has a top speed of 170km/h.

Powered by a 69.9kWh LFP battery, the 2025 C10 has a WLTP-rated range of up to 424km. The DC charging speed for the 2025 version is still 84kW and the charging time taken for the EV’s battery to go from 30% to 80% is 30 minutes.

Since the EV is 4.7m long and has a wheelbase of 2.8m, the C10 is much longer than its close rivals and thus has slightly more cabin space. In terms of width and height, they are 1.9m and 1.68m, respectively, which is within the same vicinity as per other mainstream electric SUVs.

The same goes for its boot space too, which is listed as 435L and can be expanded to 1,410L. Other notable features of the C10 include a 10.25-inch digital instrument, a 14.6-inch 2.5K infotainment display, Level 2 ADAS, 7 airbags, a 12-speaker sound system, and 3.3kW Vehicle 2 Load (V2L) capability.
