Looking for a new colour for your Tesla? Tesla Malaysia has revealed the availability of its new Diamond Black colour option for the Tesla Model 3 and the Tesla Model Y. It replaces the older Solid Black option as the new paint appears to be metallic with sparkles effect.
The Diamond Black paint is an extra RM5,000 option for both the Model 3 and Model Y in Malaysia. At the moment, the default “Free” colour is Stealth Grey.
Here are the colour options for both Tesla EVs in Malaysia:
Model 3
- Stealth Grey – Included
- Pearl White Multi-Coat – RM5,000
- Deep Blue Metallic – RM5,000
- Diamond Black – RM5,000
- Quicksilver – RM11,000
- Ultra Red – RM11,000
Model Y
- Stealth Grey – Included
- Pearl White Multi-Coat – RM5,000
- Diamond Black – RM5,000
- Glacier Blue – RM7,500
- Quicksilver – RM11,000
- Ultra Red – RM11,000
To recap, the Model 3 is priced from RM181,000 for the standard range RWD model and from RM210,000 for the long range AWD. Meanwhile, the Performance AWD version is priced from RM242,000. Estimated delivery for new orders for the Tesla sedan in Malaysia is between 1-3 months.
If you’re looking for something bigger and fresher, the newly upgraded Tesla Model Y for 2025 is priced from RM195,450 for the standard range RWD variant and from RM242,450 for the long range AWD model. If you place your order now, the estimated delivery for the Model Y is between July and September 2025.
