Realme has showcased its latest premium mid-range smartphones – the Realme 14 5G and Realme 14 Pro 5G – here in Malaysia. At the time of writing, no pricing, detailed specs, or availability date have been confirmed just yet, except for the devices’ exterior designs.

Realme 14 comes with Mecha-inspired design and “Victory Halo Light”

Let’s start with the “base” Realme 14. It comes with a Mecha-inspired design, featuring geometrical lines on its back, along with bright-orange highlights that the company calls “Flaming Orange Power Engine”. This youthful-looking smartphone is also equipped with the “Victory Halo Light”, which can illuminate during gaming, charging, notifications, and alarms.

Three shades will be offered with the Realme 14 in Malaysia. This includes Mecha Silver, Storm Titanium, and Warrior Pink which Realme claims is the first-ever pink gaming smartphone.

Realme 14 Pro looks more like a conventional “flagship”

If you aren’t a fan of the “regular” Realme 14’s flashy looks, you might want to consider the Realme 14 Pro instead, which carries a more minimalistic design, identical to last year’s Realme 13 Pro series.

As mentioned above, no specs have been confirmed for the Malaysian market just yet. Looking at the Indian market model, which has just been launched recently, the Realme 14 Pro sports a 6.77-inch 120Hz curved OLED display, 50MP OIS main camera and 16MP selfie shooter, a 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging, and is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset.

Realme collaborates with Soloz and Team Vamos, appoints them as “Chief Gaming Officers”

Aside from showcasing the Realme 14 series, Realme has also appointed Malaysian gaming icon Soloz (Fariz “Soloz” Zakaria) and Mobile Legends esports team Team Vamos as its Chief Gaming Officers.

Realme says it’s strengthening its connection with the youth and wants to inspire them through esports while delivering a premium gaming experience.
