Prism+ launches new QLED & DLED Google TVs in Malaysia, priced from RM1,199

Singapore-based electronics manufacturer Prism+ has just launched three new smart TVs here in Malaysia. All supporting the Google TV OS, the new products launched include the S40 and S43 DLED TVs, as well as the Q86 Ultra QLED TV.

Prism+’s first affordable Full HD DLED TVs

The Prism+ S40 and S43 have been introduced as the brand’s first affordable Full HD DLED TVs here in Malaysia. As their names suggest, the S40 sports a 40″ display, while the S43’s display stretches slightly larger at 43″. These two DLED TVs can be yours at RM1,199 and RM1,349 respectively.

The Prism+ S40 and S43 are equipped with the brand’s Direct LED backlight technology and support HDR10 along with Dolby Audio. It has a 99% sRGB colour gamut and over 16.7 million colours.

Featuring Google TV, the Prism+ S40 and S43 come with built-in Google Assistant and Chromecast features. There is also a new Kids Profile feature, which gives parents greater control over their children’s viewing experience. Parents can restrict access to specific streaming services or content, monitor activities, and set viewing time limits.

Prism+’s latest flagship QLED smart TV

Aside from the budget-oriented DLED TVs, the Prism+ Q86 Ultra QLED TV has also been introduced here in Malaysia as the brand’s latest flagship TV in the country. Priced at RM7,999, it comes with an 86″ display, featuring a 120Hz 4K QLED panel, which is the highest refresh rate in the brand’s lineup.

Featuring the Google TV OS, the Q86 Ultra leverages quantum dot technology, Motion Smoothing technology, and supports HDR10+, which adjusts colour and brightness levels frame-by-frame. It also comes with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio support.

Additionally, this QLED TV comes with an HDMI 2.1 (eARC) port, Game Mode, Auto Low Latency Mode, and a Filmmaker mode which the brand claims detect and maintain the original content format, allowing viewers to experience content exactly as the creators intended, without any device-related alterations.

Prism+ has partnered with top content providers, including MeWatch, Viu, WeTV, and Durioo+, offering viewers with a wide selection of shows, dramas, and movies. The bundled apps come together with free trial periods of up to 12 months.

The Prism+ S40 and S43 DLED TVs are both priced at RM1,119 and RM1,349 respectively. The flagship Prism+ Q86 Ultra QLED TVs can be yours at RM7,999.
