Days of Play 2024 sale: Up to RM470 off for PlayStation 5 Slim, PSVR2, DualSense controller

The Days of Play sale is back in Malaysia once again. For this year’s edition, Sony Interactive Entertainment has brought some discounts for the PlayStation 5 Slim console, PlayStation VR2 (PSVR2) headset, DualSense wireless controller, and selected blockbuster PS5 games.

Get PlayStation 5 Slim for as low as RM1,830

Let’s start with the PS5 consoles themselves. There are five options available on the table with each of them have received a discount of RM239:

  • PS5 Disc Edition: RM2,499 RM2,260
  • PS5 Disc Edition with 2 DualSense Bundle: RM2,799 RM2,560
  • PS5 Disc Edition Genshin Impact Gift Bundle: RM2,499 RM2,260
  • PS5 Digital Edition: RM2,069 RM1,830
  • PS5 Digital Edition with 2 DualSense Bundle: RM2,369 RM2,130

In case you are wondering, all the PS5 consoles listed above are the PS5 Slim models. The discounts that are being offered for PS5 through this year’s Days of Play sale are not as good as the Sony Store Ramadan Promo back in March but then again, PS5 Slim consoles were just released back in February.

Discounts for PSVR2, DualSense wireless controller, and selected PS5 games

If you are in the market for a PSVR2 headset especially now that it can also be used on PC to play SteamVR games, the timing is just nice:

  • PSVR2 Standard: RM2,799 RM2,329
  • PSVR2 Horizon Call of The Mountain Bundle: RM2,999 RM2,529

In general, the Days Of Play 2024 provided slightly more discounts for the PSVR2 Standard set than the Sony Store Ramadan Promo. While the discount for the PSVR2 The Horizon Call of The Mountain Bundle is lower than the Ramadan deal, you still save RM470 over the bundle’s retail price.

Meanwhile, games can also purchase the DualSense Wireless Controller for RM279 during the Days of Play 2024 sale. This offer is valid for multiple colourways including White, Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Galactic Purple, Starlight Blue, Gray Camouflage, Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver.

Last but not least, SIE is also offering discounts for selected PS5 titles including Gran Turismo 7, God of War Ragnarok, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Rise of The Ronin, and The Last of Us Part II Remastered. You can get them for RM209 each instead of the usual RM299 price tag although do note that this particular discount offer only applies to the disc version of these games.

The PlayStation Days of Play 2024 sale is already happening right now at all authorised PlayStation retailers across Malaysia and will last until next Wednesday, 12 June. You can also check out PlayStation Malaysia’s official website to learn more about discounts on PlayStation Plus subscriptions and PlayStation Store’s digital games.
