Apple iPad 10th Gen gets another price cut in Malaysia, now starting at RM1,799

Apple has unveiled several new offerings at the recent Let Loose event including iPad Pro with M4 processor, Apple Pencil Pro, a new Magic Keyboard, and the M2-powered iPad Air. The Cupertino giant didn’t abandon its entry-level iPad though and has given another round of price reductions to the Bronze winner of SoyaCincau.com’s iPad of The Year award.

Immediately after the event, the iPad 10th Gen pricing on Apple Malaysia’s website was updated. Here is what it looked like since then:

  • iPad Wi-Fi 64GB – RM1,799
  • iPad Wi-Fi 256GB – RM2,549
  • iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular 64GB – RM2,549
  • iPad WiFi + Cellular 256GB – RM3,299

All in all, you are looking at a price cut of RM200 across all variants. However, this is not the first time Apple has slashed iPad’s price in Malaysia.

This is the second price reduction for iPad 10th Gen

When the iPad 10th Gen was introduced in October 2022, the Wi-Fi 64GB and 256GB variants were priced in Malaysia at RM2,099 and RM2,849 respectively. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi + Cellular 64GB went for RM2,849 while the 256GB was priced at RM3,599.

The first price cut took place a year later and while it was rather minor at just RM100, the move has brought down the starting price of the iPad to under RM2,000. Specifically, the October 2023’s price cut has resulted in the Wi-Fi 64GB version being priced at RM1,999 while the 256GB can be obtained at RM2,749.

As for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, the 64GB variant went for RM2,749 and the 256GB was listed at RM3,499. In case you are wondering what iPad 10th Gen is all about, check out our review right here.
