ChargeSini has announced that it has expanded its EV charging network which now includes Holiday Inn hotels. The latest addition is Holiday Inn Melaka which has a total of three AC charge points.
The Holiday Inn Melaka location has three 22kW AC charging bays which are also equipped with parking barriers. The charge points are using time-based pricing which varies depending on the kW output received. For example, if your EV can receive 11kW on AC, you will be charged at RM0.18 per minute (RM10.80 per hour) and if it gets 7kW, it will cost you RM0.12 per minute (RM7.20 per hour).
If you do the math, the current pricing is roughly RM1 per kWh. In fact, ChargeSini has plans to migrate to kWh-based pricing of RM1.00 per kWh for AC and RM1.19 per kWh for DC charging once it has obtained the ST Licence.
The minimum charge is RM5 and there’s also idle fees of RM1 for every 5 minutes if you do not move your car 15 minutes after charging has ended. For those who plan to charge their EV overnight, the idle fees are waived during its cut off time between 12:00am to 9:00am daily.
Besides Holiday Inn Melaka, ChargeSini also has deployed four 22kW AC charge points at Holiday Inn, Sepang. You can book and activate the charger via the ChargeSini app which is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
