Astro is giving discounts to its customers who subscribes to the Primary, Entertainment or Movies pack. New customers can enjoy up to 30% discounts on their bills by choosing to Auto-debit their monthly bills.

The discount is over a 24-month period, so customers can expect to enjoy over RM 600 in savings if they sign up for auto-debit bill payments with Astro. According to them, “Customers can experience convenience and peace of mind with bill payments that are always punctual and hassle-free.”

The three packs that are part of this campaign are:

  • Primary pack
  • Entertainment pack
  • Movies pack

The first is the Primary pack, Astro’s standard pack. With over 80 channels included, the pack can be subscribed for only RM 41.99 a month, instead of the usual RM 59.99 a month. Customers will also get access to the Astro GO app, 200 hours of cloud recording and a free upgrade to the Ulti Box. There is also no activation fee as Astro is waiving the RM 39 fee for this campaign.

The channels in the pack include Astro Prima HD, iQIYI TV, One HD, TLC, and Astro Arena HD.

The Entertainment pack shares all of the Primary pack’s benefits and adds several additional channels. The price for the pack is RM 62.99 a month versus the usual RM 89.99. Customers also get access to premium streaming apps like BBC Player and choose between Viu Premium or TVBAnywhere+ for international streaming content on the go.

Channels in this pack include everything in the Primary pack, kids, and variety channels such as Nickelodeon, Dreamworks, Paramount Network, BBC First, Astro Wah Lai Toi HD and NHK World.

For movie heads, the Movie pack is a good choice to consider. Now priced at only RM 66.49 a month, down from the usual RM 94.99, you get everything in the Primary pack and access to HBO GO and Disney+ Hotstar streaming apps included in the price.

Channels in this pack include all in the Primary, as well as movie channels such as HBO HD, Cinemax HD and tvN HD.

Additionally, subscribers who opt for the auto-debit feature can choose to add premium apps to their subscription including Qalbox by Muslim Pro, ZEE5 or iQIYI from as low as RM8.40/month. The promotion is only for new subscribers who chooses either one of the three packs on offer.
