[ UPDATE 5/10/2023 16:22 ] We’ve added the full plan details for the revised Unifi Fibre Broadband offering.

===

TM has just revealed its new revised Unifi Fibre Broadband pricing following the enforcement of the latest Mandatory Standard on Access Pricing (MSAP). With the new revision, 100Mbps is the new baseline Unifi home broadband offering which is now offered at RM89/month.

New TM Unifi Home Fibre Broadband Pricing

According to TM, the new Unifi Broadband plans offer greater affordability with significant price reductions. It also wants to uplift customers to a new internet experience of 100Mbps to enable more Malaysians to take advantage of higher speeds at lower prices.

Here’s the new Unifi Fibre Broadband pricing for home users:

  • Unifi 100Mbps (50Mbps upload) – RM129/month RM99/month
  • Unifi 300Mbps (50Mbps upload) – RM149/month RM139/month
  • Unifi 500Mbps (100Mbps upload) – RM209/month RM159/month
  • Unifi 1Gbps (500Mbps upload) – RM289/month
  • Unifi 2Gbps (Aggregated 1Gbps+1Gbps download, 1Gbps upload) – RM319/month

As a promo, TM is offering the base Unifi 100Mbps plan for RM89/month for a limited time only. According to the Unifi Fibre broadband page, the exclusive RM89/month subscription price is fixed for as long as you’re subscribed to it. As usual, all new subscriptions are tied to a 24-month contract.

Take note that these are standalone fibre broadband pricing without additional Unifi TV or Unifi Mobile bundles. TM is only bundling WiFi 6 routers for 300Mbps plans and above, while the lower 100Mbps and Rahmah 30Mbps plans come with WiFi 5 routers instead.

Unlike the previous revision in 2018, the latest price cut isn’t as significant as the plans are only getting a price cut of about RM10-RM50. Also for the first time, TM is making its 1Gbps and 2Gbps (1Gbps + 1Gbps aggregated) fibre plans available standalone without the Unifi TV bundle.

For existing Unifi customers, TM has also announced a free speed upgrade which will be rolled out in stages within 3 months. For example, customers on 30Mbps will be upgraded to 100Mbps while maintaining their existing subscription price.

Unifi still retains its Pakej Perpaduan (Rahmah) which still offers 30Mbps for RM69/month. This plan is available only to B40 individuals, senior citizens, persons with disabilities as well as veterans.

Unifi offers 100Mbps Fibre + Unlimited 5G Postpaid + Free Phone for RM149/month

For greater savings, TM is offering a bundle pack where you can get 100Mbps Home Fibre Broadband, Unlimited 4G+5G postpaid plan and a free 5G smartphone for RM149/month. However, this offering is tied to a 36-month contract.

The 5G postpaid plan and free phone bundle is based on their current UNI5G Postpaid 89 plan. The plan offers unlimited high-speed 5G and 4G data, 10GB hotspot and unlimited calls.

[ UPDATE 23/10/06 ] TM has updated that the bundled postpaid plan for the RM149/month offer is Postpaid 89, not the RM60/month Rahmah plan which they initially told us.

More details are expected to be revealed on Unifi’s website.
