TM Unifi has also revealed its Pakej Perpaduan Fibre Broadband plan which aims to provide affordable home internet for targeted groups. As announced earlier by Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil, the Pakej Perpaduan Broadband plan offers unlimited 30Mbps home broadband for RM69/month, which translates to savings of RM480 over two years.

The Unifi Home 30Mbps Home Fibre for Pakej Perpaduan is offered for RM69/month instead of the usual subscription rate of RM89/month. However, this pricing is only applicable during the 24-month contract period. It is stated clearly that customers will be charged the normal rate of RM89/month from the 25th month onward.

The Pakej Perpaduan Fibre Broadband plan is open to low-income individuals categorised under B40, senior citizens (aged 60 and above), veterans (police, military) and people with disabilities (OKU). Eligible customers can sign up online or visit their nearest TMpoint.

According to the T&C, the 30Mbps fibre plan comes with a WiFi 5 router instead of the newer WiFi 6 standard. If you wish to terminate the plan during the contract, you are required to pay the remaining months’ balance of the entire package. The FAQ also states that an advance payment of RM100 is applicable for new installation and customers of the plan will not be entitled to free speed upgrades. At the moment, TM offers 6 months free speed upgrade for existing customers who wish to upgrade to a higher speed plan.

For more info, you can visit Unifi’s Pakej Perpaduan page.
