Looking to buy a brand new smartphone and also a brand new EV? Honor Malaysia and GWM Malaysia are currently having a joint promo where you can get a discount for the Ora Good Cat if you purchase the Honor 90. Alternatively, if you book an Ora Good Cat, you can also get RM300 off for the Honor 90.
According to Honor Malaysia, you can enjoy this promotion at their roadshow at LG Oval Floor, 1 Utama Shopping Centre that’s happening until 30th July 2023. Buyers of the Honor 90 will take home a RM3,000 cash voucher for the Ora Good Cat and it is applicable for both 256GB and 512GB models. According to the T&C, the voucher will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last and you’ll need to show proof of purchase of the Honor 90 when placing a booking for the EV.
The RM3,000 voucher can only be redeemed after successful ownership registration of the vehicle and it must be completed on or before 31st December 2023.
To recap, the Honor 90 was launched last week with the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model going for RM1,799, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage version is going for RM2,099. This is Honor Malaysia’s latest premium mid-range smartphone with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and a 200MP main camera.
Alternatively, there’s also another promo that works in reverse. GWM is offering RM300 off for the Honor 90 if you place a booking for the Ora Good Cat.
The Ora Good Cat EV comes in two models in Malaysia. The base 400 Pro is priced at RM139,800 while the higher-spec 500 Ultra is going for RM169,800. The Ora Good Cat gets a single motor driving the front wheels with 141hp and 210Nm of torque which can get from 0 to 100km/h in 9.3 seconds. The 400 Pro version gets a 47.8kWh battery with a claimed 400km range on a lenient NEDC cycle while the 500 Ultra has a bigger 63.1kWh battery that claims to deliver up to 500km range (NEDC) on a single charge.
