Sony Xperia 10 V Malaysia Specs
While the Xperia 10 V exterior looks identical to last year’s model, it gets a slightly larger 6.1″ Full HD+ 21:9 OLED display. However, it still pushes a standard 60Hz refresh rate and is protected with Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus. Under the hood, it still runs on the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chip as before but with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is still expandable via a microSD card.
In the camera department, Sony has upgraded the previous Xperia 10’s 12MP main camera to a larger 48MP f/1.8 1/2.0″ Exmor RS mobile sensor that comes with optical image stabilisation. It still retains a similar 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and another 8MP f/2.2 telephoto shooter. For selfies, the device also gets an 8MP f/2.0 front camera.
According to Sony, the Lavender colour option is identical to the WF-C700N wireless earbuds which retail at RM549. If you prefer to use a pair of wired headphones, you still get a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Also included is a pair of front-facing stereo speakers, which were previously not offered on the Mark IV. It also supports 360 Reality Audio, Hi-Res Audio and stereo audio recording. Similar to the Xperia 1 V, the Xperia 10 V offers easy access to the SIM and microSD card expansion with to its tool-less tray design.
The Xperia 10 V also gets a 5,000mAh battery that supports USB PD fast charging. Besides supporting 5G, it also supports Bluetooth 5.1 but no WiFi 6 support (only up to 802.11ac). However, you still get IP68-rated dust and water resistance, which is a signature feature for Xperia smartphones. Out of the box, it runs on Android 13.
