MSI is celebrating Chinese New Year with discounts of up to RM2,000 for their laptops

Well would you look at the time, it’s almost Chinese New Year now, and to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Rabbit, MSI Malaysia is having a major CNY sale on a bunch of their devices, happening from now till the 29th of January 2023.

As you can see here, the biggest deal among their gaming laptops is the RM2,000 off for the MSI Stealth GS66 which normally retails for RM14,999 as well as the MSI Raider GE67HX which has a retail price of RM17,999. The former is positioned as a sleeker yet still powerful laptop, packing an Intel Core i7-12700H, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. The Raider GE67HX on the other hand is much more of a beast, with an Intel Core i9-12900HX, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2TB SSD and a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU, as well a 240Hz OLED display.

Other solid deals here include the MSI Vector GP66 which can be yours for just RM6,999, down from RM8,499. It has an Intel Core i7-12700H with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1TB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. If you’re more keen on battery life, the Stealth 17M and the Stealth 15M might also be solid options, as it has an Intel Core i7-1280P which uses less power than the other processors mentioned here, while still keeping 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a 512GB SSD, a GeForce RTX 3060 as well as high refresh rate displays.

These aren’t the only laptops on offer though. You’ll also find their more traditional business and productivity laptops on offer too, such as their Summit, Prestige and Modern line up of devices. The biggest discount here would be the 2-in-1 MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo, which has an older 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 with 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 13.4-inch, 16:10 FHD+ touch screen display. While it originally launched with a RM5,999 price tag, MSI is selling it for RM3,999 instead this Chinese New Year. Then there’s also the MSI Creator M16, a content creation laptop that can be yours for RM5,799, down from RM5,999.
