Are you still looking for the hard-to-find Enhanced Touch ‘n Go card that can be reloaded with an NFC smartphone? Touch ‘n Go has released a new special edition card this time with Mission GreenPossible.

While the standard TNG card with NFC retails for RM10, this special edition card is priced at RM25, similar to the United Voice limited edition. According to Touch ‘n Go, they will contribute a portion of each card purchase towards Mission GreenPossible which aims to plant 100 million trees in Malaysia.

If you’re interested, you can pre-order now from the official Touch ‘n Go eWallet store on Lazada. Take note that you can only check out using your TNG eWallet and other payment options are not accepted. With shipping included, it costs RM29.90. According to the Lazada listing, the card will ship in 30 days.

To recap, the Enhanced Touch ‘n Go card allows you to reload the card balance via Touch ‘n Go eWallet using an NFC-enabled phone. This makes it more convenient to top up the card with no extra surcharge. You can also check the balance in real-time through the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app.

Take note that when you activate the Enhanced Touch ‘n Go card for the first time to your eWallet, it will automatically enable PayDirect. This allows toll payments and parking fees at PayDirect-enabled merchants to deduct directly from your eWallet instead of the actual card balance. If you prefer to pay using the card balance, Touch ‘n Go has recently provided the option to turn off PayDirect for the card without unblinking the card from the eWallet app.
