Maxis is giving out 1 million World Cup match passes for free on Sooka. Here’s how to claim them

The FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022 is coming up in a couple of weeks, and Maxis is giving out 1 million free passes to their customers. You’re able to redeem any of the 64 matches live on Sooka from 20 November to 18 December.

“Every four years, Malaysians gather to support and cheer their favourite teams in this much anticipated global sporting event. We are excited to bring the World Cup Qatar 2022 closer than ever to Rangkaian Maxis through our free match passes and data giveaway. All Maxis Postpaid, Maxis Home Fibre and Hotlink Postpaid customers can also look out for exciting offers on getting the latest devices to watch the game, and keep up with all the football action together with family and friends,” said Loh Keh Jiat, Maxis’ Chief Marketing Officer.

Here’s how you can claim one of the million passes Maxis is giving out:

Starting from 20 November up until 18 December, Maxis Postpaid, Hotlink Postpaid, Hotlink Prepaid and Maxis Home Fibre customers can redeem the passes on both the Maxis app (iOS, Android) and the Hotlink app (iOS, Android). You’re able to claim one pass per day, but keep in mind that they’re all on a first-come-first-served basis.

Launch the app and click on an icon or banner that reads “FREE 1 million live match passes” on the home screen. You can then choose your desired match and follow the steps there to redeem it.

Additionally, Maxis write that Maxis Postpaid and Hotlink customers are also able to redeem an extra 10GB of data for Sooka for free, and it’s valid for 30 days. You will be able to claim them through the monthly internet passes section of the app. Also, each live match pass comes with extra 1GB high-speed data.

World Cup 2022 takes place in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022. Will you be watching?
