After introducing its all-in-one postpaid and home broadband bundles with lifetime savings of RM191/month, Celcom has also enhanced its standalone Mega and Xpax postpaid offering with more data for a limited time. Across the board, Celcom Mega customers will get 10GB of extra data while Xpax Postpaid customers are getting double the high-speed data quota.
Celcom Mega Postpaid plans get 10GB extra data
The base Celcom Mega Lightning which offers unlimited calls and 40GB of data for RM80/month is now upgraded to 50GB. Meanwhile, Mega 98 is upgraded from 50GB to 60GB, Mega 128 from 70GB to 80GB, Mega 158 from 90GB to 100GB and Mega 188 from 120GB to 130GB.
Double data quota for Xpax Postpaid
For Xpax Postpaid plans, Celcom is doubling the data quota for its Postpaid 40 and Postpaid 60. The base Xpax Postpaid 40 which costs RM40/month now gets 20GB of high-speed data and unlimited calls. Meanwhile, the higher Xpax Postpaid 60 gets 40GB of high-speed data and unlimited calls for RM60/month. Both plans still come with unlimited data for YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, tied to a monthly 150GB Fair Usage Policy (FUP).
Unlike Maxis which gave its postpaid plans a permanent data quota upgrade, the extra quota by Celcom is only limited for a year. According to the terms and conditions, the extra high-speed internet quota is only valid for 12 months and is offered from 25th August until 31st October 2022. The campaign is applicable to residents in Malaysia aged 18 years old and above, who maintain an active Celcom line throughout the period.
Besides new subscribers, the extra data offer is also extended to existing postpaid customers as well. Existing Xpax Postpaid 40 and 60 customers can opt-in by sending an SMS FREE10GB (for Postpaid 40) or FREE20GB (for Postpaid 60) to 28884. Existing Celcom Mega customers can SMS QUOTAMEGA to 28884.
