The Xbox gets a Thor themed makeover. Just don’t get tempted to swing it around

If you’re a fan of the God of Thunder, you’re definitely upset about the fact that Thor: Love and Thunder isn’t coming out in Malaysian theatres so soon. But would it make you feel better if we show you an Xbox shaped like Thor’s Mjolnir that you probably can’t even get your hands on? No?

The specially customised Microsoft Xbox Series X matches almost perfectly with the superhero’s Mjolnir hammer, adding a braided handle similar to the one in the films. However, this custom Xbox isn’t for purchase—or not available for purchase yet.

Xbox is enticing fans with the Mjolnir Xbox as a prize for a contest on Twitter. It looks like there are at least two contests—one for the US and one for the UK. The link in the tweet will take you to an Xbox page that ‘cannot be found’, so there may be several consoles for different geographic locations. But it doesn’t seem like there is a contest valid for Malaysians.

Here’s a reminder that the Xbox is not officially available in Malaysia, and there are a few reasons why. So, for now, we can only really just look from afar through a metaphorical glass pane—wishing we can wield the Mjolnir Xbox even just for a little bit.
