Why is Grab so expensive now? | Let’s Talk About #96

Many of us have noticed that there has been a price bump in eHailing fares, but is it due to lesser active drivers on the road? Or due to the increase in traffic lately? It was also reported that around 30 to 40% of Grab drivers would most likely not respond to ride requests during peak hours as they are afraid to get caught in traffic.

So, what are the main factors of this issue? How can it be solved? On this episode of Let’s Talk About, Alex and Amin share their thoughts on the current eHailing fare surge, along with some key factors that might be causing a shortage of eHailing drivers.

Let’s Talk About is also a podcast. Listen here or wherever you get your podcasts.
