Welcome back to another episode of Ask Us Anything where we gather your questions from the internet and answer them! Well the new TNG card with NFC is now finally official. But where can you buy them and which phone is supported? Also, what is the best SD card for your GoPros? All of these and more on today’s video!
Should you get the Poco Watch or the Redmi Watch 2 Lite?
The Poco Watch is the company’s first fitness tracker that comes with 14-days of battery life and an SPO2 sensor. It also has a 1.6-inch, 320 x 360p AMOLED touch display and is rated for a 5ATM water resistance. And in terms of pricing, the Poco Watch is going for RM299.
Now moving on to the Redmi Watch 2. Unfortunately, in Malaysia there’s only the Redmi Watch 2 Lite. But the difference between the two is just the screen size and the weight. The internals and specs are the same.
The Redmi Watch 2 Lite is officially priced at RM249 and you will be getting a square TFT LCD 1.55-inch display, up to 10 days of battery life and a 5ATM water resistance.
So the 2 watches are pretty much similar but the Poco Watch comes with a slightly larger display and a bigger battery compared to the Redmi Watch 2 Lite. But you will be able to save a little bit of money if you don’t mind the minimal difference.
TNG card with NFC is now official
The new TNG card with NFC support is now official and that means, no more looking for random 7E or petrol stations to top up your card when you are in a rush!
You can now order the card online via the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app. The new card costs RM10 and there’s RM5 shipping fee. They are also available at selected petrol stations but stocks are very limited right now.
According to Touch ‘n Go’s FAQ, it is supported on Apple devices with NFC such as the iPhone 7 and above. If you’re using an Android smartphone, it can be tricky as not all phone models from various brands offer NFC. A quick way to find out is by going into your Android phone’s settings and searching for “NFC”. If there’s an NFC setting option in your phone, it is likely that it will support the TNG NFC reload feature. Your phone must be running at least iOS 13 or Android 4.4 to use the feature.
What is the best SD card for GoPros?
We do use a lot of GoPros in the soyacincau office and the one that we use is the SanDisk Extreme Pro.
This microSD card allows you to shoot 4K and 1080p videos with write speeds of up to 90MB/s and quick read speeds of up to 170MB/s. This allows you to transfer your footage to your computer or external drive super quick.
If you are interested, the microSD card is officially priced at RM73.60 for the 64GB version and if you need more storage you can go for the 128GB ones, which will cost you RM129. There is also the 256GB version and it is priced at RM258.
If you guys have any suggestions on a better microSD card, do let me know too!
