Are you a big Genshin Impact fan? Perhaps more importantly, are you a fan of the character Klee in Genshin Impact? If so, Poco’s new Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition may be right up your alley.

Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition Malaysia pricing and availability

The Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition will come with a RM299 price tag and are available from the 28 of April onwards on the official Poco store on Shopee and Lazada. If you’re quick, you could also snag yourself a pair for its limited early bird price of just RM259. Alternatively, if you were looking at maybe getting the Poco F4 GT, the Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition are also available as an add-on deal for 50% off.

Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition specs

Just to be clear, the Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition isn’t technically a ‘new’ product. It originally debuted in China as the Redmi AirDots 3 Klee version, but never made it out of China. It looks like Xiaomi have decided to push this from one sub-brand to the other, with the Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition pretty much identical to the Redmi AirDots 3 Klee.

Nevertheless, if you’re a Genshin Impact and Klee fan, you’ll find a special carrying case for the earbuds inspired by Klee’s iconic backpack together with a custom Dodoco Tales box and keyring too. The charging case, charging cable and earbuds themselves have a red colourway, while the earbuds and charging case also comes with Klee’s four-leaf clover design. And perhaps the best part is that Klee will also voice the earbuds notifications you get when using the earbuds, such as when you first pair the earbuds with your smartphone or when the battery is low. For example, when it’s connected to a new device for the first time, Klee will announce ‘Ta-da! Klee is here!’.

Going beyond just the Genshin Impact theme, the earbuds themselves are actually fairly solid. You do get 35dBB smart active noise cancelling with three noise cancellation modes and two transparency modes. The drivers themselves are 9mm composite dynamic drivers and each earbud weighs about 4.9g. You’ll also find a 3-mic array built into it with call noise cancellation too. They come with a 35mAh battery in each earbud while the charging case itself has a 470mAh battery. This gets you about six hours of music playback time with ANC off and 50% volume, while with the charging case you should be good for a total of 28 hours.

Other features of note include USB-C and wireless charging as well as Bluetooth 5.2 support. Each earbud will take about an hour to charge, but the case itself will take two and a half hours to charge up. There’s dual device connectivity too, meaning you can pair it to both your smartphone and your laptop and switch between the two accordingly. On top of the Genshin Impact special packaging and carrying case, in the box you’ll also get a total of four pairs of ear tips.
