The Beats Studio Buds that were introduced last year are now available in 3 striking new colours. This includes Sunset Pink, Ocean Blue and Moon Grey. If you’re interested, you can already purchase them from Apple Malaysia’s online store.

The Beats Studio Buds are officially priced at RM629 in Malaysia. If you pick the new colours, the devices are available for shipping on 26th April 2022. Besides the new trio, it is still available in White, Black and Beats Red.

Apparently, the Studio Buds is the ‘fastest-selling’ Beats product to date. What makes this different from other Apple headphones is the ability to integrate with Android devices.

The Beats Studio Buds offer active noise cancellation (ANC), IPX4-rated sweat resistance and a total of up to 24 hours of battery life with the case included. For the price, it is quite competitive compared to your regular AirPods that don’t come with ANC. The design of the case looks similar to the AirPods Pro and the earbuds themselves feature an in-ear design that weighs just 5.1g per side. For a better fit, you do get 3 pairs of different replaceable tip sizes in the box.

Each bud features an 8.2mm dual-element diaphragm driver with a two-chamber acoustic design. Although it lacks Apple’s H1 chip for automatic cross-device switching, it still supports “Hey Siri” voice assistance and Spatial Audio for a more immersive audio experience. You can also switch between different noise cancellation modes by pressing the “b” button on the back of the bud.

WIth ANC enabled, you can get 5 hours of listening time per charge or up to 15 hours in total with the case included. Without ANC, you can enjoy a longer 8 hours of listening time or up to 24 hours with the case included. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support wireless charging but you can get an hour of music playback with a quite 5 minute charge via the USB-C port. You can learn more about the Beats Studio Buds in our announcement post.
