Acer has a bunch of new monitors starting at RM899 and a special Raya deal along with it

Acer Malaysia has just revealed four new monitors being available in Malaysia, ranging from the more usual fare to high end gaming monitors as well. They’ll also be having a promotion in conjunction with Hari Raya called the Sinar Raya with Acer campaign, with a bunch of Acer products on offer.

Acer Predator X28

The Predator X28 is perhaps the highest spec monitor on show here today, with a 28-inch, 4K IPS panel that can be overclocked to a 152Hz refresh rate. You’ll get a 90% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and a 178° viewing angle. It also features NVIDIA G-Sync for smoother, tear-free gaming along with NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer, which can give you accurate measurements of system latency. It has a 1ms grey-to-grey response time, and is also VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, with a typical brightness of 300nits and a peak brightness of 400nits when in HDR400 mode.

There’s two HDMI 2.0B ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a headphone jack, three USB-A 3.0 ports, a USB-A 2.0 port and a further four USB-C 3.0 ports. If you’d like to mount it to the wall or your own monitor arm, there’s a 100mm VESA on the back of the Predator X28. There’s a pair of 2W stereo speakers built in too.

The Predator X28 will retail for RM3,699 with 3 years warranty and is available on the official Acer eStore and authorised retailers nationwide.

Acer Nitro EI322QURP

Next up with have the Acer Nitro EI322QURP, a 32.5-inch, 1440p VA monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate. The monitor is curved too with a 1500R curve to it, while having a 178° viewing angle too. It has a typical brightness of 320nits with a peak brightness of 400nits in HDR400 mode, and covers 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Acer has rated it with a 1ms VRB response time, and on the back of the monitor you’ll find a pair of 3W stereo speakers too.

Furthermore, it comes with two HDMI 1.4 ports, another HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.2 port and an audio out port. There’s a 75mm VESA mount too for more flexibility. The Acer Nitro EI322QURP will retail for RM1,299 with three years of warranty.

Acer Nitro XZ306CX

Another entry to the Acer Nitro range with a 1500R curve is the Acer Nitro XZ306CX. It’s a 21:9, 29.5-inch ultrawide monitor with a FHD+ resolution while also featuring a 200Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync technology too. It has a typical brightness of 350nits with a peak brightness of 400nits in HDR400 mode. It has a 1ms VRB response time, covers 93% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and has a pair of 2W stereo speakers built in too.

As for I/O, you again get two HDMI 1.4 ports, a HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.2 port and an audio out port along with a 75mm VESA mount on the rear. The Acer Nitro XZ306CX is priced at RM1,299 with three years of warranty.

Acer CB292CU

Lastly, we have the Acer CB292CU, a more value-oriented monitor without much of the gamer aesthetic of the other three. It’s a 21;9 ultrawide monitor with a 29-inch, FHD+ IPS display and a 75Hz refresh rate as well as a 99% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut. It still offers a 1ms VRB response time though and so could still be decent for some gaming. The CB292CU though is a little dimmer than the others, with just 250nits of brightness,. Furthermore, it’s only a 6bit display compared to the 8bit panels the other monitors are using.

You do still have a pretty solid range of I/O though, with two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.2 port and audio out, along with a 100mm VESA mount. There’s a pair of 2W stereo speakers too. It’s the most affordable of the lot though, retailing at just RM899.
