  • Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) – RM549
  • Magic Keyboard – RM1,349
  • Smart Keyboard Folio – RM769
  • Smart Folio – RM329

iPad Air 2022 Specs

The new iPad Air still retains the same 10.9″ Liquid Retina Display that pushes a resolution of 2360×1640 pixels and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Instead of an A14 Bionic chip, the new model runs on a more powerful Apple M1 chip which has an 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU, along with 8GB of RAM. Just like the previous model, it is offered in either 64GB or 256GB of storage.

In the camera department, the rear still gets a 12MP main camera while the front now gets an upgraded 12MP Ultra wide front camera that supports Apple’s new centre stage feature. Similar to the previous gen model, it also gets a two-speaker stereo setup in landscape model. Unlike the iPad Pro, the iPad Air still gets Touch ID that’s integrated on the power button.

Connectivity wise, it supports 802.11ax WiFI 6, Bluetooth 5.0 and 5G connectivity for the cellular model. Another major upgrade is the USB-C port is now faster with USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds. It also supports fast charging with a 20W USB-C power adapter which is still included in the box. On a single charge, it can last up to 10 hours of video playback on WiFi or up to 9 hours on mobile data. You can learn more about what’s new in our iPad Air 2022 announcement post.
