Besides the new iPhone SE with 5G, Apple has also introduced a new colour option for the iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 now come in green, while the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max is offered in Alpine Green. The new colours are coming to Malaysia and you can pre-order starting next Friday, 18th March 2022.
Apple’s VP of Worldwide Product Marketing Bob Borchers said “People love the design of iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13, and we’re excited to unveil the stunning new alpine green and green finishes, which join the wide range of beautiful colours on the iPhone 13 lineup.”
With the new addition, the iPhone 13 series now gets a total of six colour options which also includes Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight and (Product)Red. Meanwhile, the Alpine Green for the iPhone 13 Pro joins other four premium finishes including Sierra Blue, Graphite, Silver and Gold.
The rest of the phone remains unchanged and you still get the same powerful A15 Bionic chip across the range. To recap, the 5.4″ iPhone 13 mini 128GB is priced from RM3,399 while the 6.1″ iPhone 13 Pro starts from RM4,899. On Apple’s official store, the green option is already listed on both iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro pages but you can only purchase it on 18th March at 9am local time.
This isn’t the first time Apple introduced a new colour during a product’s life cycle. In April last year, they introduced the purple iPhone 12 and 12 mini which arrived in Malaysia a couple of weeks later.
