Astro customers will be able to access all of the Movies and Korean channels on TV and on Astro Go, to celebrate its wins at the Putra Brand Awards 2021. However, it won’t be for long—as the duration of the “free preview” will only be from 29 January 2022 to 6 February 2022.

“We are thrilled to be voted by Malaysians as their top media brand once again. This year, it is even more special for us as we received not one but FOUR awards—Platinum for Astro, Silver for Go Shop, and two Silver for radio, Era and Hitz. I would like to thank our customers and listeners for your support. Thank you, Malaysia!” said Henry Tan, Group Chief Executive Officer of Astro.

The Putra Brand Awards, known as as the People’s Choice Awards for Malaysian brands, presented 24 Platinum, 33 Gold, 50 Silver, and 55 Bronze awards, as well as 5 special awards. The results were compiled by IPSOS—one of the largest global research agencies with over 16,000 staff in 88 countries, and certified by the Board of Governors, chaired by MATRADE.

Starting 29 January, Astro customers will be able to watch the following channels for free—HBO HD (CH411), HBO Family (CH414), HBO Hits (CH415), Hits Movies HD (CH401), Cinemax HD (CH412), Showcase Movies (CH413), tvN Movies HD (CH416), Citra HD (CH108), Thangathirai (CH241), BollyOne HD (CH251), Celestial Movies HD (CH309), Oh!K HD (CH394), tvN HD (CH395) and BOO HD (CH404).
