If you really want a pink laptop, MSI now has a limited edition Prestige 14 in Rose Pink

‘On Wednesdays we wear pink’ is the classic quote from Mean Girls that some of you millennials out there might still be saying even today. Well, if you want to accompany your pink outfit with a pink laptop as well, now you can with the new limited edition MSI Prestige 14 Rose Pink.

It’s technically not the first time MSI has revamped their Prestige 14 laptop in a pink colourway; they had a pink version of the Prestige 14 last year too. However, seeing as the Taiwanese giant has since refreshed the Prestige 14 with the latest hardware, the newer Prestige 14 now also gets the pink treatment too. The Prestige 14 Rose Pink will, according to MSI, show a ‘sense of uniqueness’ while still having some solid performance to boot.

Speaking of performance, under the hood the MSI Prestige 14 Rose Pink has an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor, mated to 16GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM. You’ll also get a 512GB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD and for graphics, there’s an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 with 2GB of GDDR6 too. While it probably won’t be able to run the latest triple-A games, the entry-level discrete graphics card is still a smidge better than the integrated graphics and could be useful for productivity and light gaming. The MSI Prestige 14 Rose Pink also comes with Windows 11 out of the box.

Elsewhere, it has a 14-inch, FHD IPS display with a 720p webcam above. The keyboard meanwhile has a white backlight to it and overall the laptop weighs just 1.29kg. As for battery, there’s a 52Whr 3-cell battery that MSI claims will last you up to 10 hours, while there’s a 90W power brick too that would get you up to 90 minutes of use with a 15 minute charge. As for I/O, the MSI Prestige 14 Rose Pink has a microSD card slot, two USB-C ports with PD charging, Thunderbolt and DP pass through, a USB-A 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. You’ll also find WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 support onboard.
