Nothing is introducing its Ear (1) transparent earbuds in Black

The Nothing Ear (1) is probably the coolest-looking wireless earbuds right now with its semi-transparent design. If you don’t fancy the white body colour, Nothing has teased that a new colour option is launching tomorrow.

Based on the teaser posted on Twitter, the tech startup founded by OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei, is expected to unveil the Ear (1) in black. They have also shared a photo of the black case which looks pretty sleek.

A couple of weeks ago, YouTuber Casey Neistat, had tweeted to Nothing requesting them to release their products in black. He even shared a picture of his own Nothing earbuds that are coloured in black with a sharpie pen. Casey is also an investor in Nothing.

At the moment, it isn’t clear if the black Nothing Ear (1) will be offered as a limited edition or as a permanent colour option for consumers. At the moment, the regular Nothing Ear (1) in white is officially priced at RM499 in Malaysia. On a single charge, it offers up to 4 hours of playback with active noise cancelling enabled and you can get a total of 24 hours of playback with the case included. The transparent case charges via USB-C and it supports Qi-standard wireless charging.

Details for the new product are expected to be revealed tomorrow so stay tuned for pricing and availability info.
