Microsoft is using AI to end illegal wildlife trade, and even Prince William is impressed

The Duke of Cambridge was invited to check out Microsoft’s Project SEEKER. It’s essentially an AI-powered scanner that can check the luggage going in and out of an airport to detect if there are any illegal wildlife items hidden within. Airport authorities can then seize the luggage and items within to be used as evidence against the smugglers. More information here.

Well-known App Store critic Kosta Eleftheriou pointed out that the reviews for the Apple Podcasts in the platform went from 1.8 stars to 4.6 stars. Recent reviews of the Apple Podcasts app include specific reviews of individual podcasts. The top review is even headlined “Best Podcast Ever!!!”. More information here.
