Deal: Forget the AirPods 3, the AirPods Pro is going for RM799 on 11.11

Looking for new AirPods? While the 3rd generation AirPods is the latest model and it boasts up to 30 hours of total playback, their top-of-the-line AirPods Pro with active noise cancellation can be yours at an even lower price. You can get it for less than RM800 during the upcoming 11.11 sale.

Authorised Apple Reseller, Machines, has revealed that it is offering the AirPods Pro for only RM799 from midnight on 11th November 2021 on its official store on Shopee. The AirPods Pro officially retails for RM1,099 while the new AirPods 3 costs RM829.

It is worth highlighting that during the launch of the AirPods 3, Apple had also updated the AirPods Pro charging case with MagSafe support. This allows you to charge the AirPods using the MagSafe Charger or MagSafe Battery Pack that attaches via magnets. There’s no mention of “MagSafe” on Machines’ AirPods Pro listing on Shopee, so the case is likely to be the previous non-MagSafe version which still supports Qi wireless charging. This isn’t really a big deal as the rest of the hardware remains unchanged.

To recap, the AirPods Pro offers up to 4.5 hours of music playback (with ANC enabled) on a single charge or up to 24 hours with the case included. Unlike the AirPods 3, the Pro gets replaceable soft ear tips and it has Active Noise Cancellation as well as Transparency Mode. You also get spatial audio with dynamic head tracking as well as sweat and water resistance.
