iOS 15.0.1: Apple fixes several bugs including Apple Watch Unlock issue for iPhone 13

Apple has pushed out a new iOS 15.0.1 update which fixes several bugs that were reported on the initial iOS 15 release last week. This includes the issue where iPhone 13 users were unable to unlock their phones with their Apple Watch while wearing a face mask.

To update, just go to Settings > General > Software Update. You should see iOS 15.0.1 update being available and you can proceed to download it. It is recommended that you connect to WiFi and have at least 50% battery remaining before you proceed.

The update also solves an issue where the Settings section may incorrectly display an alert that your iPhone storage is full. It also addresses a problem where audio meditations could unexpectedly start a workout on the Apple for Fitness+ users.

On the initial iOS 15 upgrade, users have also complained about touch screen responsiveness and third apps not being able to make use of the iPhone 13 Pro’s 120Hz screen refresh rate. At the moment, it isn’t clear if these issues are fixed with iOS 15.0.1 or users will have to wait for an upcoming update.
