COVID-19 vaccine update: COVIDNow dashboard and new vaccine certificate update

In the latest COVID-19 Vaccine Malaysia Update, we talk about the Ministry of Health’s new COVIDNow dashboard which provides more details on the current pandemic situation. Will you get fined RM1,500 for failing to checkout on MySejahtera? Watch the video to find out more.

The COVIDNow website is updated daily at midnight and it provides current trends on a national level and by state. Besides the number of new cases, you can also view the current vaccination status, number of hospitalisation as well as ICU and ventilator usage by state.

When it comes to deaths due to COVID-19, the dashboard now displays the actual number of deaths per day. This will give a clearer picture as the usual reporting for COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia also includes backlog cases that happened more than 24 hours ago.

The public can also view the line list for COVID-19 deaths via GitHub which also includes the actual date of death, vaccination status as well as type of vaccine received. The Ministry is also sharing the number of Adverse Effects Following Immunisation (AEFI) cases on GitHub which is listed by vaccine type.

The COVID-19 vaccine update is also available in Bahasa Melayu on our SoyaCincau BM channel.
