Samsung has introduced the Galaxy M32 for Malaysia ahead of the upcoming 8.8 online sale. This is ra new mid-range smartphone that’s sold exclusively online and you can get it with a RM211 discount this week.
The Samsung Galaxy M32 officially retails for RM1,099 but you can get it for only RM888 during the launch promo period. The device is offered exclusively on the Lazada and the promo is available from tomorrow, 6th August until 8th August 2021.
The Samsung Galaxy M32 is the successor to the Galaxy M31, which was launched last year. Like most new Galaxy M-series devices introduced this year, it gets a square quad-camera bump and vertical lines for its rear cover. It is also worth pointing out that the Galaxy M32 for Malaysia is different from the Indian version.
Upfront, it features a 6.4″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED display that doesn’t come with a fluid 90Hz refresh rate. Samsung Malaysia didn’t specify the type of processor used, but based on the 2GHz/1.8GHz octa-core listing, this could be a MediaTek Helio G80 unit. The Galaxy M32 for Malaysia comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable via microSD card.
In the camera department, the Galaxy M32 has a 64MP f/1.8 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle shooter, 2MP f/2.4 depth camera, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. For selfies, the device gets a 20MP front camera which sits on a tiny punch-hole on the top of the screen.
Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery, which is smaller than the 6,000mAh capacity offered for the Indian version. It charges via USB-C and supports 25W fast charging. The device still gets a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
For more info on the device, you can check out the official product page. If you’re interested, the device is available on the official Samsung store on Lazada.
