The Huawei P50 series is now official | ICYMI #536

At last we are finally seeing the Huawei P50 series in its glory and as speculated earlier, the design of these devices are actually quite unconventional. What we are also going to discuss today is the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, which will be officially announced during Samsung’s Unpacked event next week. But ahead of its official launch, we somehow already know how much the new earbuds will cost.

The Huawei P50 series is finally official. This time there’s just two models, the Huawei P50 base model and the Huawei P50 Pro, and they have some pretty odd design choices. Details here.

Walk-in vaccination in Klang Valley begins 2 August for 40 and above, open to all on 5 August

Khairy Jamaluddin has announced that walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations for remaining adults below 60 years old in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor will begin starting today. The walk-in vaccinations will be implemented in stages based on age groups and comorbidities. Details here.

Binance must stop Malaysia operations by 9 August, users told to withdraw their investments

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has announced that it will be taking enforcement action against Binance for operating a Digital Asset Exchange (DAX) illegally. Binance is a popular exchange platform to trade cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance Coin, but it was operating without authorisation. Find out more about it here.
