Is your Poco M3 stuck in a boot loop? Here is Xiaomi Malaysia’s response

One of the most popular phones in recent months has been the Poco M3. Unfortunately, it also seems as though quite a number of people in the last couple of weeks have been reporting that their Poco M3 has some unexpected issues.

Based off the queries on the Xiaomi and Poco subreddits, the problem looks especially prevalent on Poco M3 devices that have recently been updated. Essentially, once these phones have been turned off for any reason, be it for a reboot or having run out of battery, there’s a chance you might not be able to turn it back on.

We’ve gotten in touch with Xiaomi Malaysia regarding this issue that’s slowly spreading across Poco M3 owners. They say that they are aware of the dead boot issue, and that they’re working with their customer service team, technical experts and industry partners to support customers with the necessary assistance.

If your device is proven to be going through boot troubles, Xiaomi Malaysia will either repair, exchange or provide a full refund to you. They’re also giving an extra three months of warranty for all repaired and exchanged units to ensure you’ll have peace of mind when using your smartphone.

Hopefully it’s just a bug with the software that can be patched out with an OTA update. The Poco M3 remains a popular smartphone thanks to its great hardware specs for a very good price, and it would be a shame if the dead boot issue on these devices can’t be rectified.
