If you’re getting ready for the big 7.7 online sales, take note that Maybank is bringing forward its daily maintenance window to 11.30pm until 11.59pm on the 6th July 2021 (Tuesday). During this period, you won’t be able to access most of Maybank’s online services including their Maybank2u website, MAE app and FPX payments.

(2/3) The following services will be unavailable from 11:30pm until 11:59pm on 6 July 2021 (Tuesday)
· Maybank2u, MAE App, QRPayBiz App & Wealth App
· FPX Online Payments
· Debit Card Transactions
· Self Service Machines (ATMs, Cash Deposit & Cheque Deposit machines)

— Maybank (@MyMaybank) July 4, 2021

Debit card transactions, ATMs, cash deposit and cheque deposit machines will also not be available. According to Maybank, the decision to bring forward the daily maintenance is to ensure that customers can enjoy their 7.7 online shopping experience without interruption from midnight.

The move isn’t entirely new and they have done it before for previous online sales. If you need to top up your eWallets with funds from your Maybank account, it is recommended that you do so before 11.30pm.
