Razer Blade 14 available for pre-order in Malaysia, starts at RM 9,999

Razer has brought back the Razer Blade 14 gaming laptop after a number of years. And now, the ultraportable gaming machine has been made available for Malaysians to pre-order.

As a recap, the latest refresh of the Razer Blade 14 features the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU underneath. In the GPU department, while the European launch saw three models with the NVIDIA RTX 3060, 3070 or 3080 as options, Malaysians will only be able to pick from the latter two variants. It also features a 14-inch QHD 165Hz display, all of which comes packed in a chassis 16.8mm thin.

As for the other specs, you can expect 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage and a 61.5WHr battery that Razer says will be good for up to 12 hours. Being a Razer product also means that it’ll have Razer Chroma RGB lighting on the keyboard. In terms of ports, you’ll find 2x USB Type-C ports, 2x USB Type-A ports, 1x HDMI port, 1x Kensington lock and a 3.5mm audio jack. No Thunderbolt though, as this is an AMD-powered laptop.

Pricing and availability

As mentioned earlier, the Razer Blade 14 here will only feature the RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 models. They’re currently only available as a pre-order, but their listings on Shopee and Lazada state that they are estimated to arrive by the 4th of July, 2021.

As part of the launch, Razer will also be giving away freebies if you preorder one of these for yourself. You can get Razer SWAG and a Razer BlackShark V2 X headset worth RM319 — but only if you pre-order the laptop from the official Razer Flagship Store on Shopee or Lazada.
