Unifi celebrates hitting 2 million customers, offers free Unifi TV access to watch Olympic Games Tokyo 2020

Unifi, the internet service provider under Telekom Malaysia, has recently announced that it now has over 2 million customers under its belt. Seeing as it has passed a new milestone, it wants to celebrate the occasion by giving exclusive offerings to those 2 million Unifi users.

The special promos include free viewing of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics for all current customers, airing from 23 July to 8 August 2021. All existing unifi users can watch the 33 sports and 339 events on Unifi TV through set-top-box or Unifi Plus Box. If you don’t have a Unifi TV subscription, you can still watch the Olympics by using the Unifi PlayTV app.

You can also get a free home Wi-Fi consultation by Unifi’s own team of experts. They will help you with a professional assessment of your house and help you optimise your wireless coverage. These visits usually cost RM120 per visit, but for the first 100 customers to sign up for it, you can get it for free. Unifi users on their 500Mbps and 800Mbps plans meanwhile can get free Wi-Fi consultation until the end of the year.

Lastly, you can also get the Unifi Mobile 99 plan for just RM59. This plan includes unlimited calls, texts, data, and a free 10GB LTE hotspot pass. It comes with no contract attached for current Home Broadband customers, while those currently not under a Unifi Home Broadband plan can still get this deal albeit with a 12-month contract attached.

“We are celebrating this key milestone because of you, our dear customers. Thank you for your continued support, confidence and trust in Unifi. You are the motivation that keeps us striving to constantly deliver the best experience for our customers. This is our way of saying thank you for choosing Unifi as your digital lifestyle enabler,” – Anand Vijayan, Chief Commercial Officer, Telekom Malaysia
