If you’re a subscriber of Celcom in Peninsular Malaysia, you may experience issues connecting to the internet on your mobile device. Celcom has acknowledged an issue that affects mobile data experience.
According to Celcom’s tweet, the issue was caused by an ‘unfortunate equipment failure’. The blue telco is currently working on resolving the issue and restoring its services as quickly as possible.
At the time of writing, it appears that the data connectivity issue is happening intermittently and not all users are affected. It isn’t clear if it affects users on MVNOs that use Celcom such as XOX, Yoodo, RedOne and TuneTalk. Are you having issues with your Celcom connection? Let us know in the comments below.
