Samsung is unpacking its most powerful Galaxy on 28 April and it supports the S Pen

3 months after the launch of the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung is having another Galaxy Unpacked event which will reveal their most powerful Galaxy device yet. They have also shared a teaser video ahead of its virtual live event which is taking place on 28th April at 10am ET.

For those residing in Malaysia, you can watch the event live at 10pm Malaysian time on the official Samsung YouTube channel. If you’re thinking that this is a new smartphone, it’s actually a lot bigger than you think.

As reported earlier, Samsung has hinted there won’t be a new Galaxy Note smartphone this year but the series isn’t dead yet. Late last year, the head of Samsung Mobile, TM Roh, did indicate that the S Pen experience will be extended to more Galaxy devices. So what is Samsung launching next?

Galaxy Book Pro

From the looks of it, Samsung will be unveiling its new Galaxy Book Pro series on the 28th April. The Galaxy Book Pro and Book Pro 360 are said to be powered by an Intel 11th gen processor (up to Core i7) and comes in 13.3″ and 15.6″ sizes. Both devices are expected to be offered in either WiFi-only and 5G versions.

Depending on specs, the device can be configured with an Nvidia MX 450. There’s also support for the S Pen, Thunderbolt 4 along with Samsung ecosystem features including Samsung Dex and Smart Things.

Serial leakster Evan Blass has already leaked clear renders for the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 last month and the laptops have also appeared on SafetyKorea certification. However, it isn’t clear if these Galaxy Book Pro models come to our market as Samsung Malaysia hasn’t introduced new laptops for quite some time now.
