Malaysia has recorded 1,317 new COVID-19 cases today which brings the total number of infections to 362,173. There are 4 new deaths reported and the death toll is now 1,333.
The Ministry of Health has reported 1,052 new recoveries and a total of 345,005 patients have recovered and discharged so far. The recovery rate is now 95.26% while the mortality rate is at 0.37%.
There are currently 15,835 active cases remaining which are receiving treatment. 188 are in ICU while 84 require respiratory support.
Out of the 1,317 new cases today, 12 are imported while 1,305 are transmitted locally. Sarawak recorded the most with 351 cases, followed by Selangor with 303 cases, Kuala Lumpur with 116 cases and Pulau Pinang with 112 cases.
