Realme Malaysia has introduced the Narzo 30A, its new budget gaming smartphone that will go on sale starting this coming Sunday. Looking at the spec-sheet, this looks like a cheaper variant of the Narzo 20 that comes with a lower price tag.
The Realme Narzo 30A is officially priced at RM599 in Malaysia and it comes with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. During its first day sale on Shopee which starts at 12AM on 4th April, the phone is going for only RM499.
Just like the Narzo 20, the 30A model gets a 6.5″ display that pushes a HD+ resolution of 1600×720 pixels. It runs on a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 processor with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and it has 64GB of storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.
In the camera department, the Narzo 30A has a more rudimentary dual-camera setup that consists of a 13MP main camera and a secondary portrait lens. As a comparison, the more expensive Narzo 20 gets a triple-camera setup with a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, the tiny notch on the Narzo 30A houses an 8MP selfie camera.
Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging via USB-C. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and it supports 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
To complete your gaming experience, Realme has also introduced three additional accessories. This include the Realme Cooling Back Clip which is a cooling fan that you can attach to the back of your phone. It is priced at RM149 but it’s going for only RM99 during the first day sale on Shopee.
Realme is also offering a pair of Game Finger Sleeves at RM29 which are going for RM9.90 during the 4.4 sale. If you need extra trigger buttons, there’s also the Realme Mobile Game Controller that’s priced at RM99 each, however, there’s no availability details for it just yet.
