Galaxy S21: Samsung Malaysia confirms Wireless Charger Trio is included in pre-order bundle

Despite not including a wired charger and headphones in the Galaxy S21 box, Samsung appears to be offering something better to all pre-order customers in Malaysia. Previously, Samsung Malaysia announced that pre-order customers are only getting two freebies – wireless earphones and a Galaxy Smart Tag. Now, they have started running new pre-order ads which now includes a Wireless Charger Trio worth RM399.

In total, you are getting RM1,217 worth of freebies when you pre-order the Galaxy S21 and S21+, and up to RM1,317 for the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The Galaxy Buds Live (worth RM699) is offered to S21 and S21+ customers, while the latest Galaxy Buds Pro (worth RM799) is bundled on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The Galaxy Smart Tag is basically a tracker that can help you locate lost items and it retails for RM119.

The free Wireless Charger Trio wasn’t officially mentioned during the local announcement but it was offered by telcos and other authorised resellers or dealers. As reported recently, a source close to the matter told us that all pre-order customers will definitely get the 3-in-1 wireless charger for free despite not being advertised on the official Samsung website and social channels.

At the time of writing, the extra wireless charger still isn’t listed on their online store during checkout. Some buyers have contacted Samsung’s customer service and were told that the mystery gift will be offered while stocks last.

This isn’t the first time Samsung has surprised pre-order customers with extra bundles. Last year, Samsung had quietly bundled free UV sanitiser with built-in wireless charger and an additional 9W wireless charger for Galaxy Note 20 pre-order customers.

The Wireless Charger Trio allows you to charge two Qi Wireless devices and a Galaxy smart watch at the same time. The charger comes with a USB-C cable and a 25W adapter which you can also use to charge your phone quicker by cable.
